Hey, I'm Mc
Just like you, when I was about to study, stay, and pursue my dream career in Canada,
I did a lot of research in several online forums, websites, etc.
I had many failed attempts, struggles, lesson learned through my journey.
It took me almost years to figure out and realized what I want in life.
As young a professional who came from a third world country the “Philippines”, I grew in an environment where you can’t rely to no one but yourself. No free health care, no free education, and limited income benefits. I became self-reliant at a very young age. I started my entrepreneurial journey when I moved to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I was subletting three (3) apartments while I was working fulltime as a project coordinator in a Digital Company, this significantly helped me sustain myself and my family for a couple of years. After years of saving, I realized that my business and my full-time work in Dubai are both not sustainable in terms of my long-term goal. I would like to settle in a place where I can call my “second-home”. The place that we can stay closer to my family – and not restricted with my “temporary work permit”.
My entrepreneurial spirit always come out wherever I go. As an international student – I started different side hustles such as selling second-hand furniture, woodwork business with my partner Felix, creating a peer-to-peer platform for clothing and artists, etc. I have done an independent study on different business models in Canada during my studies at Nova Scotia Community College. I always knew that this is my calling. I had to do a lot of research that took me years to learn the immigration, business law, and tax system in Canada. I always have the business idea – but lack of knowledge, support, and awareness got me stuck for two years. I could have started earlier; I could have helped more immigrants now – but I couldn’t take action because I had the “IMPOSTER SYNDROME”.
SHOW ME HOW >In Jan 2021, I have finally launched the very first digital programs (IMMIGRANT SUCCESS CLUB) and finally made my first $10,000 in its first month. This is a hybrid program (online course and mastermind group) that gives HIGH-LEVEL support for ambitious immigrants. The program made by an immigrant for immigrant. My mentorship is not just become my source of inspiration but as well as responsibility for my fellow immigrants. I wanted to share my rookie mistakes as a newcomer, and my strategies on how I scale up my career from being a student to an entrepreneur.
I wanted to empower and inspire more immigrants to dream, achieve, and reach their exponential growth. In this way, I can leave a legacy in this world, that I am once a mentor who became one of the most SUCCESSFUL IMMIGRANTS of Canada.
