
You have three options when it comes to intake or start of the program – it could be September “Fall”, January “Winter”, or May “Summer. There are pros and cons in each intake which we will be tackling – and watch till the end to decide which intake best suits you! In the end, will calculate which intake has an opportunity cost!
FALL or SEPTEMBER INTAKE ( Sep to Dec)

CONCLUSION: Although a lot of programs will be available for this intake. Keep in mind that you have a lot of competition in terms of finding jobs and housing (esp for family).
WINTER OR JANUARY INTAKE (JAN TO MAY)

CONCLUSION: Although there are fewer job opportunities for winter intake – this is actually the best time to focus on your studies instead and save your time working for summer break. Also, you can take advantage of the fast-track program to finish your studies in a short amount of time and still get 3 years of PGWP.

CONCLUSION: Although there are a lot of jobs available – you are only limited to working for 20hours a week since you are studying full-time during this intake. You will miss a lot of internship and coop opportunities (in the first year) if you start in May intake.
